Mac & Cheese Pizza
Make your childhood dreams come true.

Most of the time when I make pizza it’s for a 5-year-old boy. That should be very apparent this week.
There wasn’t much to this pizza, but it did require some prep work. First, I made a box of Velveeta Shells and Cheese (the best mac & cheese) like I normally would. Then I poured it onto a sheet pan and let it cool down and solidify in the fridge.
I used regular ol’ pizza sauce as the base. Cheese and tomato sauce go really well together. If you’ve ever had Spaghetti O’s, you know this already. Next, I layered on the cooled slabs of shells and cheese, followed by more shredded cheese.
Do you like carbs? Have I got the pizza for you! It was good. Actually, I was surprised by how good it was. I think the key was chilling the shells and cheese. It allowed the cheese sauce to get nice a creamy again without burning before the crust was ready.
