Joe & Josh: Cooking The Mythical Cookbook

In the late 2000s, Hollywood thought internet content was the hot new property to explore. We had a TV series based on a Twitter account and a feature film based on a cooking blog in the span of about a year. The latter was called Julie & Julia, and it's the inspiration for this project.
Julie & Julia was a movie based on a blog started in 2002 titled the Julie/Julia Project. The author, Julie Powell, chronicled her attempt to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I've always thought that was a fun idea, and I was reminded of it while reading The Mythical Cookbook by Josh Scherer.
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a Good Mythical Morning superfan. I've been watching the show since at least 2014, and I got my wife into it when we started dating. Now it's become a daily ritual—so much so that I proposed to her with a Mythical-branded Guess Who! game.

I'm also a big fan of the Mythical Kitchen channel. Josh's chaotic energy and willingness to try just about anything is very much my vibe in the kitchen—as is evident by some of the pizzas I've created. The Mythical Cookbook was made for people like me, and the fact that we have the same name alliteration as Julie & Julia only solidified that I should do this series.
Now, I should say right from the start, there are exactly 100 recipes in The Mythical Cookbook, and unlike Julie, I don't plan on making every single one. That being said, I have quite a few recipes marked with Post-It flags that I'm dying to try.
Come along on this journey with me, and don't forget to Be Your Mythical Best.
