"Ham in the Middle" Pizza
I randomly realized that I have never made a simple ham and pineapple pizza. So that’s what I did. But I didn’t expect the reaction I got.
This is just a basic tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, and pineapple pizza. The only special thing I did was use fresh pineapple. I thought my son would enjoy seeing how you cut a pineapple, but it also allowed me to cut thin slices. That’s a must with a wet ingredient like pineapple. The other thing is we put the slices of deli ham under the cheese.
I mean, there’s a reason why every pizza place offers this combination of toppings. It’s sweet, it’s salty, it’s delicious. My son referred to it as “ham in the middle” pizza and told me he wanted it every week. That might be the best review I’ve ever received.
